After a meal at the new City Hall Community Room and a speech by Cherokee Chief Chad Smith the delegation make a quick Collinsville tour Thursday evening August 31st. They visited the Victory Cemetery, then drove by the Broadway Bridge and new Cherokee Tag Agency before stopping at the Victory Cherokee Organization office on Main Street (including a visit upstairs in the 1950s room of the Trinity Faith Church). Other dignitaries visiting with the Cherokee delegation here were Congressman Brad Carson and Cherokee Councilman Buel Anglen.
