This was a short week for the Lady Cardinals softball team as they received a District bye. Last week the Lady Cardinals moved to the #1 spot in 4-A rankings which was previously held all season by Lone Grove.

The only game for Collinsville this week was in the Oologah festival Saturday. The Lady Cardinals played 6-A Tulsa Memorial. Kelli Dunagan pitched a perfect game and had 14 strikeouts. Taylor Whisenhunt reached base on an error as lead off in the first inning and Kelli Dunagan brought her home. A single by Rebyl Richardson scored the other run in the 2-0 victory for the Lady Cardinals. Hillary Brown was 2-3 at bat and Jordan Perkins had one hit.
