Took The Ball Away From Berryhill:

Vendeventer and Kacy Keith provided a dance portion of the band's halftime performance.
Berryhill
took the 2nd half kickoff and drove from their own 30 yard line to the Card's
25 before Collinsville slowed them with back-to-back 1 yard gains setting up
the 4th & 1 at the 23 yard line above. Berryhill picked up the first down
with a gain to the 10. Berryhill scored three plays later and took a 0-7 lead
at 6:44 in the 3rd quarter.
Lenard
Creek (#21) took the kickoff (above) after Berryhill's first touchdown and returned
it to the Cardinal 45 yard line. Collinsville was unable to move the ball further
but did pin Berryhill with the punt and a clip back to the 5 yard line. Berryhill
didn't stay pinned for long with runs out to their own 25, the Card's 33, and
then the 15 before Collinsville recovered a fumble at the 19 yard line (below).
Berryhill
took a Collinsville punt (near midfield) just before the end of the third quarter
and drove to the 1 foot line (above) and then scored on the next play going
up 0-14 with 8:49 left in the fourth quarter.
The
Collinsville Crimson Cadet band provided music from the stands throughout the
game.
