The rebuilding of the Collinsville Community Church continues to show progress. (Previous Coverage)
The old paving outside the City Hall restoration is being removed and will be redone to be consistent with the upcoming changes in the next two blocks east when the Vision 2025 / TEA-21 Downtown Beautification project is completed.

Collinsville's Eastside Baptist Church will be hosting a Fall Festival Friday Oct. 28th. Keith Coast will be at Herald Elementary and the Middle School discussing a drug free life, then on Saturday we will have him at our church and we want the community to know that everyone is invited to come and enjoy a time of fun that is free to everyone.

Family Fun Day with Keith Coast

Activities will consist of: Inflatable Obstacle Course, 24x24’ Maze, Jupiter Jump, carnival games, candy, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and beverages.

Cost: Free -- When: October 29th
Where: Eastside Baptist Church -- Time: 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Keith Coast will provide a program that makes the Word come alive visually with the help of illusions, balloon creations, escapes, fire-eating, juggling, comedy and more. Whether he lights his tongue on fire or crawls into a six-foot balloon, it all is used to share the love of God and to challenge other believers to do the same.

The Collinsville Education Foundation is still processing 2005 teacher's grants but has tentatively approved over $9,000 in educational grants out of over $35,000 requested as of Oct. 18, 2005. (Link)
