Collinsville 7th Grade Won 32-6
Collinsville 8th Grade Won 6-0 in OT
Collinsville 9th Grade Lost 16-29
Joe Keith (#42) carries the football up the middle in the 7th grade game Tuesday and avoided a much larger Bristow lineman.
The 7th graders (in red) chatted briefly at mid field following their game while the 8th graders (in blue) prepared for their game.
Colton Overholt (#20) quarterbacked the 8th grade team in the first half when they drove close to a score but turned the ball over on downs. Neither team scored in regulation time and Bristow had the ball first in overtime but Merin Oakley intercepted a pass on Bristow's 3rd OT play.
Merin Oakley (#22) scored for Collinsville in overtime on this run to give the 8th grade Cardinals a 6-0 win.
The trainers made a water run to keep everyone hydrated with our warmer than normal October weather.
Thomas Isom (#81) just missed a touchdown on this incomplete pass in the freshman game. The Cardinals did score later on this series with runs by Bobby Shoate and Kyle Rush. Shoate carried the final yard and Isom caught a pas for the extra point and put Collinsville up 8-0 in the first quarter.
A few of the JV cheerleaders posed Tuesday.
Jared Billips (#4 under a pile of Bristow defenders) scored the second Collinsville freshman touchdown early in the 4th quarter.
Thomas Isom caught this extra point pass to tie the 9th grade game at 16-16. Bristow scored on 37 and 45 yard runs in the 4th quarter to win 16-29. Bristow had also scored on a 48 yard pass in the 2nd quarter and a 30 yard run in the 3rd quarter.
