New gravel and removal of extra track was apparent today on the SK&O rail line at Main St. In Collinsville. Several other cleanups mandated by the Corporation Commission still remain to be done. (Previous coverage)
With the interior steel frame nearing completion in the front portion of the City Hall reconstruction, the first roof trusses were being installed Monday afternoon (May 23, 2005).
According to Keith Franklin (of LandPlan), the official word on ODOT TEA-21 grants for this year will not be known before June 6th. (Previous Coverage)
The combined Owasso-Collinsville "Relay For Life" held Friday May 20-21 at the Owasso High School track raised over $78,000 for cancer research. (2003 Coverage)
Pastor Danny Stanley of Trinity Faith Church just returned from his 8th missions trip to Independencia Mexico, Tijuana, Mexicali, La Puerta, Ojos Negros, Valle' de Trinidad and La Ventena. Trinity Faith Church is now working on two churches, a nursing home and a roof replacement for one lady's home. On one of the churches they are building a block wall around property to help hold back night time theft in the church. 61 people were saved on the trip.
