Pitcher Eric Sirmon (#17) fielded this bunt and threw out the Catoosa runner in the 4th inning of the first game.

Trying to get another run in the 7th, Tyler Nair (#11) lays down a sacrifice bunt (above) to advance Brad Aguillard who had singled. Branden George was hit by a pitch giving Collinsville 2 on with 2 out but they were left stranded and forcing a second game.

Above, he and catcher Ryan Coe watch second baseman Jonathan Beweley tag out the Catoosa runner trying to steal second (with Coe's throw) in the 1st inning of game 2.
Both sets of coaches were busy moving pitchers and fielders around in both games. Card's scorekeeper Jayme Howard confers with the umpire to try and keep it all straight.
This bird (and a few others) were not much bothered by the games as they buzzed the field and landed several times in front of the Cardinal dugout.
