Middle School Roof Starts

Individual cvilleok.com web pages for each 2005 CHS graduate are under construction. Parents and graduates are invited to submit photos and messages. Email to wrightted@aol.com or leave with Mrs. Bowman at CHS to be scanned and returned. An early version of the pages should be online before the end of April. Maggie Studie is shown teaching the Cherokee Language Class for members of the Victory Cherokee Organization last Monday (March 14th). Classes are held at Trinity Faith Church Monday evenings at 6:30pm. Twenty-six attended the class above in the 1950s Room upstairs at Trinity Faith. No class will be held Monday Mar 21st due to Collinsville's spring break. Maggie Studie is the mother of actor Wes Studie.

Ted Wright will present an historic slideshow at the Chamber of Commerce meeting April 7th, 2005. The luncheon meeting will be at the Collinsville Library at noon.

Collinsville's communication web site (www.cvilleok.com) made it's debut on March 20, 2003 with little fan fare. The web site begins it's third year averaging about 12,000 visits per month. This web site is associated with the "Newspaper Museum In Collinsville" and is owned and operated by Ted Wright of Collinsville. The museum and web site are funded by advertising on these pages. Middle School Blue Roof
Crossland workers started installing the initial blue roof panels Saturday morning (over insulation) at the new middle school building (SE corner). The insulating yellow wall material started coming up earlier this week.
Collinsville trees continue their colorful spring transition even though it won't officially be spring until Sunday March 20th.
