Weekend Update: Pawhuska was the winner of Collinsville's Wood Bat Tourney ... which was finished in Bixby due to a sloppy field here Fri-Sat.
Collinsville was already down 0-4 in the first inning when these two card base runners (Jonathan Beweley and David Chester) were left stranded as they tried to advance above on a long fly out for the 3rd out.
Jonathan Beweley puts the tag on this Oologah base runner in the second inning with the throw from Cards' catcher Ryan Coe.
Jim West had a rough outing for the Cards giving up 4 runs in the first and leaving in the 4th with the bases loaded and 1 out. Josh Walker was warming coming in to releive when I left for tennis and soccer coverage. -- Ted
The Collinsville dugout had the rally caps out early (above) but were still trailing 1-4 when I left. Heard later at the soccer game that the baseball final was 3-9.
Shortstop Branden George drifted back into left field to make this out for the Cards (left).
