The exterior of the new middle school is still not completed with just three weeks until the first day of school (Aug. 18th) but progress continues.
Across the street from the middle school construction, the CHS volleyball teams are holding practice as they prepare for their upcoming season (see the August & Sept. event calendars).
This City Hall interior view shows one of two stairwells that will have concrete poured into the frame within about a week. The elevator is scheduled to arrive in about a month.
The six new classrooms at the high school will be ready for school's start August 18th.
Coach Ryan Christian joined in the volleyball practice Wednesday and the CHS girls had to contend with some extra height at the net.
The office (above) at the front entrance of the new middle school is starting to look more like an office as preprations continue with the goal of finishing in time for students August 18th. One of the rooms (below) shows cabinets and a work surface in place.
One of the new air conditioner units was lifted to the roof at City Hall Wednesday.
The Community Church rebuilding project continues with insulating wall material this week.
