Collinsville's
First 2005 Snow
|
Big wet snow flakes started falling before noon Friday and were sticking pretty well by about 1pm. This is Collinsville's first snow of the year with January 2005 temperatures bouncing almost daily between freezing in the teens to basking in the 70s. |

Valley Basketball Tournament Results: Collinsville's boys won the
tournament by beating Kellyville 68-58. All tournament team members were
J.W. Purtle, Ramsey Kadourra, and Tyler Chronister. Tyler was also selected
tournament MVP. The Collinsville girls won by beating Oklahoma Union 66-61
to take 3rd place in the tournament. Erica Holly and Lacey Kocheski were

Bonus Mystery
Photo -- This photo was taken at the Austin,
Texas, airport. The airport's hugh mural was painted by the son of
a 1936 Collinsville High School graduate. Unless you are a good detective,
I'd only expect a family member to identify the painter (my cousin who
