6 Collinsville Wrestlers Advance to State Tournament Next Week
Jerry Harker picked up Collinsville's first individual regional championship at 112 in the finals Sat. Feb. 19th.
Daniel Walker was Collinsville's second regional individual champ at 130 pounds.
Davie Henry had to settle for 4th place at 135 pounds in the consolation finals Saturday Feb. 19th at the 3A Regionals at Collinsville..
Clint Swango had the easiest final at 140 pounds as his opponent showed up for 2nd place but forfeited.
Jordan Scruggs was the fourth Cardinal wrestling for a top finish (at 152) but lost 4-7 and also lost some blood with a cut on the back of his head during the bout.
Josh Allen wrestled at 171 in the consolation finals and came up short by a 3-5 score.
