I had anticipated a quite game in a nearly empty gym at 1 o'clock in the afternoon but walked into a gym with every seat full and the Collinsville Middle School students stomping & cheering their Lady Cards on to victory in this first round game Monday. The students are shown above returning to class immediately after the game. Collinsville led 8-2 at the end of 1 quarter and held a 20-10 halftime lead. The score after 3 quarters was 28-14 and the final was 34-26. -- Ted
