2005-2006 CHS Wrestling Team

Last year's 3A state runner-up wrestling team from Collinsville will replace graduated seniors with new faces and try to repeat that success. They have two individual state champions returning: Jerry Harker (112 pound champ) and Clint Swango (140 pounds). Coach Mike Henry and his wrestlers are working now to prepare for a few December 2005 tournaments and duals on the road, but will have a home mat advantage some of January 2006. Regional and State tournaments begin in February. Most home matches are wrestled at the high school gym, but a few are at the middle school gym when the CHS basketball team is home on that same night.
