Collinsville police officer Travis Linzy drew the name of Tucker Bouressa (of Owasso) as the winner of the FOCAS gift certificate to Bass Pro. Friends of the Collinsville Animal Shelter President Marlene Spicer, watches the drawing above (at the Collinsvile Police Station Wednesday Dec. 21st) and Officer Linzy announced the winner below.
Thanks to a donation by Ken Underwood, the basketball goals at the Collinsville City Park have been restored and are ready for use for those looking for some cool outdoor exercise on this first day of winter. (Previous Coverage)
City Commissioner Trent Rogers holds the original light fixture from the front of City Hall. That fixture and the newer replicas below will soon be installed as the refurbished City Hall nears completion. The middle photo (taken just hours after the December 2001 fire that has sidelined the building for 4 years) shows the bulb on the fixture that Trent was holding above. (Previous Coverage)
