I just received some good news that ODOT will begin working on our School Zone lights May 2nd and should be through by May 6th. We will need to inform the public about his so they will slow down and NOT receive a ticket. -- Cory Slagle (CHS Principal) 4/25/2005
CHS graduation (May 17): No one will be allowed to put signs saving seats at the Claremore Expo. Expo employees will just take them off if anyone does this. People will need to arrive early and be physically present to get a seat. All seats in the expo are good. People who are handicapped will have special seating. -- Cory Slagle (CHS Principal)
The new classroom addition at the high school continues to progress and should be ready for use next fall.
Not really school related, but I was impressed with the facilities at Victory Energy south of town this week and had space on this page for a photo. (Previous coverage)

The Collinsville Crimson Cadet Band went to State Contest in Stillwater April 21st and received superior ratings on stage and in sightreading. Because we also received superior ratings earlier at regional marching contest, this qualified us for the OSSAA Sweepstakes award (the highest instrumental music honor in the state). This also marked the 15th time consecutively that this program has achieved such an honor. We are all really proud of the band's achievements this year.

The spring concert is next Thursday, May 5th 7:00pm at the park. Bob Humble is also going to have some of his choir students sing starting at 6pm. Weather permitting, this will all take place at the park again. The rain location is the HS Gym.
