Members from several tribes from Alaska, Minnesota and California visited Collinsville Tuesday to review the Learn & Serve Program used here to restore the Victory Indian Cemetery. They were hosted by the Collinsville Indian Education staff and the Cherokee Nation. Local students shared their experiences and what they had gained from their involvement in restoring the neglected cemetery. Collinsville Downtown, Inc. stressed the importance of the many partners in the project started in 2002 and still continuing.
