The Homecoming Parade will be Friday Oct 15th at 3:30. Line-up will begin at 2:45 on Main Street, between 5th and 7th Streets. All organizations and individuals are encouraged to decorate floats and/or vehicles to be in the parade. Drivers of floats or vehicles must be adults. A parent must ride on each float/trailer with students. No 4-wheelers, motorcyles or go-carts will be allowed in the parade. For more information contact Missy DeLozier at the HS 371-3382.

The bleachers for the middle school gym (& HS) arrived in boxes (Oct. 1 above) and are assembled (Oct. 6 below). Work will now shift to completing the seating at the high school gym.

Stuco is planning spirit week for homecoming;
Monday- Pajama Day
Tuesday- Little league uniform day
Wednesday- Nerd/Goofy day
Thursday- Beverly Hillbilly day
Friday- Spirit day
Dress code will still apply except for hats!

FEA
(Future Educators of America):

FEA is currently recruiting more members. FEA is
picking a design for their T-shirt. A committee is
currently working on the homecoming float.

SADD
(Students Against Destructive Behavior):


SADD Executive Team members Josh Buchfink,
Katrina Chadwell, Emilee Dutton, Kelsey Hewlett,
Heather Horn, Jayme Howard, and Jeannette Lykins have planned the annual SADD pledge drive for next week.
Sign-ups will be Tuesday, October 12th through
Thursday, October 14th during both 1st and 2nd
lunches. Vo-Tech students may see Mrs. Lykins to sign up or re-pledge. New pledges will receive a "Contract for Life," which they will sign in the presence of an executive member. They must also ask a parent or caring adult to sign it and return it the next day.
Current members will simply resign their contracts.
All pledges, new and old, will receive a pledge card
and a Turn 21 First button. Current members who donot re-pledge will receive a SADD postcard reminding them to stop by room 108 to sign their contracts again.

Congressional Visit

Congressman John Sullivan is scheduled to speak to the CIA (Cardinals In Action) on Oct. 28th at 10:00 am. He will speak to the CIA in the gym and tell about how and why he has chosen to be a leader and a public servant. He will also tell students what his job entails.
