Julie Stanley, (left) Interim Program Director of Collinsville Downtown Inc., presented the program to the Chamber of Commerce Thursday. The slideshow showed what a small change in a building's facade could do to enhance it's apprearance and business potential. She showed before and after photos from other communities in a program titled: "Storefronts That Sell". Collinsville is losing Julie as she is moving out-of-state this week. Renie Doherty took over today as CDI Program Director but was attending a training session.
Changes were obvious this week at the Chamber soon-to-be office at 11th & Main. The Chamber hopes to move into the building in December.

The next meeting is Dec. 2nd at the Library. A new slate of Chamber officers for 2005 will be introduced at that meeting. Saturday December 11th the Chamber will host the Christmas parade and basket give-away. Merchants that would like holiday window paintings by middle and high school art students should contact the Chamber ASAP.

Movie Gallery will be supporting the Church of Christ food bank with a canned food drive.
