Action
Day 2 Action Day 4 Action: Cards beat Pawhuska 9-3
Collinsville's pitcher Tyler Whitaker (#20) gave up 2 runs in the 2nd on a walk and back-to-back doubles. Enid's catcher (#5 Burns) hit a solo homer in the 3rd. Collinsville came back with 2 runs in the 4th on a one-out bases loaded double by Chad Ausmus to bring the Cards back to within 1 run. The score remained at 2-3 until Enid broke the game open in their half of the 6th inning. Whitaker gave way to reliever Ricky Rimpley with the score at 2-5 and one out. I believe the final score was 2-9 but the score board was turned off mid-game after it malfunctioned. -- Ted 3/26/2004
