Collinsville Girls Win 51-43
Collinsville Boys Lose in Closing Seconds
The Collinsville girls trailed 7-12 after a quarter but had a 22-19 half time lead when I headed back to the middle school gym for some CHS wrestling coverage. The girls won with a 51-43 final score. The Collinsville basketball boys led Cleveland 20-13 at the half and 29-22 at the end of 3 quarters. The Cards fell behind at 32-33 with 2:33 remaining but tied it up 1:45. Collinsville had several shots that wouldn't fall but Cleveland made a bucket with less than 5 seconds left for the win at 33-35. -- Ted
